Our client is a Japanese manufacturing firm that specializes in motorcycles and bicycles and is currently seeking a Logistics Executive to join them.
The Responsibilities:
• Able to manage large volume of shipping documentations accuracy checking for compliance and audit purpose
• Ensures complete and accurate switched shipping documents, including vendors’ documents, received from bonded provider
• Check accuracy for submissions related to non-trading and payment for Navision invoices received from bonded provider
• Ensure Original Navision invoices with authorized signatory are dispatched to the correct parties, where applicable
• Check accuracy of monthly insurance declaration for submission to accounting
• Check accuracy of operational freight invoices payable by Singapore within the month, where applicable
• Ensure correct GST classifications for reporting and confirmation to accounting
• Communicate and follow-up with relevant parties for monthly overdue accounts payable and accounts receivable status list for payment schedule
• Manage operational fixed assets status with relevant parties for up-to-date status, and annual report coordination
• Ensure countermeasure and follow-up for operational issues related to payment from bonded provider
• Study and implement new initiatives/projects as assigned by Manager

The Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma or ‘A’ Level
• Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant field
• Basic knowledge in Import/ Export Trade Compliance related
• Open to collaborating with a diverse team comprising individuals from varied cultures and nationalities, both internally and externally
• Proficient in intermediate Excel, PowerPoint presentation, and reporting, as well as conducting data analysis in Excel
• Good Documentation Management
• Research and execute new initiatives or projects as directed by the Manager

The Responsibilities: • Handle a large number of shipping documents, making sure everything is accurate and ready for audits • Make sure all shipping documents (especially those from our bonded partner in Thailand) are correct, filed properly, and matched with internal systems for sales and purchase records • Review and check invoices (non-trading and payment-related) before sending them to the accounting team • Ensure that original signed Navision invoices are sent to the right people when needed • Double-check monthly insurance reports before submitting them to accounting • Verify freight invoices (billed in Singapore) to ensure they are accurate and paid on time • Confirm that GST (tax) classifications are correct before reporting them to accounting • Follow up on overdue payments with relevant teams and help update payment schedules • Keep track of office equipment and other assets, and assist with annual reports • Solve recurring payment issues by coordinating with the team and implementing solutions • Support new projects or process improvements as assigned by your manager The Requirements: • Min. Diploma or ‘A’ level from a recognised tertiary institution • Min. 3 years of sea import working experience • Basic knowledge of trade compliance, managing payment invoicing, or experience. • Receptive to working with a diverse team of differing cultures and nationalities (internal and external) • Intermediates excel, PowerPoint presentation & reporting • Ability to travel (mainly ASEAN countries) - Once a year • Be flexible and open to taking on new tasks when needed.
