Our Client: Our client is a well-established Japan based investment company. They are currently looking for a Senior Analyst (Japanese speaking) to support their Japanese native clients. The Responsibilities: • Originate investment opportunities in major markets in ASEAN, and liaise with the investment team in Japan HQ to structure and execute the deal • Create internal investment committee papers as well as external deal marketing materials (investment teasers and memoranda) to garner co-investor interest • Create and analyze basic valuation models (DCF and comps analysis) for entry price assessment • Post investment monitoring and management of portfolio companies • Constant interaction with the Singapore and Japan teams as well as with external parties for origination of investment opportunities, potential buyers for deal exits, co-investors, IR for existing and potential investors/clients The Requirements: • Proficiency in Japanese for reporting and communicating with Japanese Native Stakeholders and Customers • At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant field such as finance or management consulting • Financial skills including financial statement analysis, valuation modelling, accounting, & knowledge in alternative investments • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting • Willingness to handle a wide range of work including administrative work is key given the limitation in headcount RGF Privacy Policy – https://www.singapore.rgf-professional.com/privacy-policy Disclaimer: The Company complies with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP), including the prevailing guidelines on recruitment.
