仕事の内容

Our Client:
Our client is one of the leading Banking Services companies in Japan. They are currently looking for a Middle Office Officer to join their team in Singapore. 

The Responsibilities:
•	Manage profit and loss reporting, cash flow, and general accounting functions
•	Support expense and tax payments, and assist with month-end adjustments
•	Prepare financial statements for audit purposes and handle corporate tax, GST, and other tax filings
•	Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to regulatory authorities (e.g., MAS), including fortnightly reporting, MAS610, MAS649, and quarterly Income & Expenditure statements
•	Liaise with MAS and accounting firms regarding bank accounting policies and regulatory guidelines
•	Assist in evaluating the impact of new MAS regulations on current reporting processes and ensure timely adjustments as needed
•	Support the Middle Office Manager in monitoring and managing operational risk. Generate daily compliance reports and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Perform daily nostro account reconciliations
•	Prepare reports for submission to Head Office, MAS, and relevant Japanese regulatory bodies
•	Assist the Middle Office Manager with the management of outsourcing functions
•	Ensure all documentation and checklists comply with regulatory requirements and Head Office policies
•	Oversee office supplies, vendor contracts, and equipment maintenance
•	Support the management and security of office premises and systems
•	Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and ensure a well-maintained office environment
•	Perform other tasks and projects as assigned 

応募条件

The Requirements
•	Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
•	1- 2 years of prior experience in Middle Office functions within the banking industry
•	Familiarity with MAS regulatory reporting (e.g., MAS610, MAS649) is preferred
•	Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
•	Experience working in a Japanese regional branch or subsidiary is highly advantageous.
•	Strong communication skills, quick learner, ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and a collaborative team player
