Our client is one of the top Japanese companies, specialising in Automation Equipment and Systems. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer/ Associate Engineer to join their Singapore office.
The Responsibilities:
• Install, test, and calibrate AMHS equipment in the initial phase of a project
• Carry out regular inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance after the project’s initial phase
• Perform troubleshooting and recovery tasks to minimize the downtime of AMHS
• Liaise with customers to arrange schedules for jobs and update customers on work progress
• Supervise work done by sub-contractors for installation and mechanical modifications

The Requirements:
• Minimum ITE Diploma in Engineering-related discipline
• Ability to diagnose technical problems arising from mechanical equipment is an added advantage; On-the-job training provided for those with no experience
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and at heights
• Ability to grasp current work situation and plan to keep pace with the schedule
• Some experience with AMHS equipment is a huge plus
• Good team player with a positive work attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
• Possesses good communication skills and teamwork
• Able to manage duties and work under stress during busy periods without constant supervision
• Open to overtime working hours (within the regulation) and scheduled standby duties for some days in a month

The Responsibilities: • Maintain organized sales records and report month-end goal-setting to the senior management team • Support management by completing orders and keeping customers informed of delays and delivery dates • Coordinating the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information • Ensuring the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material • Responding to complaints from customers and giving after-sales support when requested • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness • Establish the planning process for the company by converting the Sales forecast into a feasible manufacturing plan • Oversee preparation and timely release of raw materials to production to meet production orders.
