Work outline: Manage Custom House Brokerage team, review documents import documents and cooperate with concern Departments
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ø Monitor all the activities handled associated with Customs House Brokerage (CHB).
Ø Planning & procurement of CHB as per customer requirements
Ø Execution of all file management activities / HS Code Classification
Ø Documentation and CHB procurement as applicable
Ø Arrange license for STL for customs clearance service. / Check all license related to import & export customs clearance for importer & exporter.
Ø Update customs regulations & other related regulations for customs clearance in both import and export business.
Ø Provide the right solution as to arrive at the minimum cost at the same time ensuring required service levels specific to each business.
Ø Verify adherence of practice to the SOP & create/modify as appropriate.
Ø Prepare & maintain operational contingency plan.
Ø Meet up with the Customer Service team members on a regular basis to identify the list of critical customers and review operations performance on a daily/ weekly basis. Present any opportunities & challenges.
Ø Control recording, analysis & action plan for improvement customs clearance service continuously.
Ø Carry out monthly / quarterly formal reviews.
Ø Maintain relations & conduct regular review meetings with internal departments such as Customer Service teams, etc.
Ø Work with forwarding team on continuously improving processes, procedures to heighten productivity, timeliness, quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
[Must]
Ø Thai nationality, Male/Female, age above 35 years
Ø Bachelor in management with specialization in International Business or Business Management.
Ø Experience in managing a Customs team with minimum 10 years’ experience in the Freight Forwarding sector
Ø Experience in Customs operations across all the logistics products & processes- Sea, Air, VAS including Trucking, Warehousing, Over border and Cargo-Insurance
Ø Solid understanding of the Customs and Excise Act
Ø Good command in spoken and written English
Ø Good computer literate
Ø Able to drive a car with license and own vehicle
Preferable:
Ø Working experience in Import/Export and Forwarder is preferred.
Ø Experience in forwarder companies handling shipment of medical devices, automotive spare parts 2nd or 3rd tier, plastics, and chemicals.
Ø Master Degree (preferred) in management with specialization in International Business
Ø If any the experience of shipping field would be advantage.
