Mechanical Engineer (1 year contract) @Rayong (80K-100K) (SDG-26285)
<Job Responsibilities>
 Manage a small team of engineers and CAD support staff in delivering the designs and clients requirements of assigned projects.
 Be in a client facing role, attending project meeting and being a key focal point for the business during the design phase of the project to fully understand clients' need.
 Take responsibility for the technical and timely delivery of your assigned projects.
 Engage with junior support staff in their day to day activities, offering advice and guidance to ensure they develop their design and project management skills.
 Monitor and report on design progress and delivery.
 Be financially astute and work with the operational and commercial teams to ensure that projects are delivered within or to an agreed cost.
 Set high standards and maintain them, ensuring adherence to QA and risk control procedures
 Liaise and support Project manager and the other Principal Engineers in ensuring the efficient operation of the department and resource allocation.
 Create and promote a pro-active active approach to customer satisfaction
 Be innovative and forward looking and support the development of new methods, techniques and technologies.
 Install mechanical equipment at the site
 Discuss and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers


 Make sure a product can be made reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments
 Recommend modifications following prototype test results
 Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints
 Work with other professionals, within and outside the engineering sector
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
 Thai nationality, Male, age 40-50 years old
 Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 10 years’ experience up as a mechanical engineer in construction or consulting business
 5 years’ experience in supervising subordinates.
 Able to communicate well in English.
 Full proficiency of AutoCAD
 Problem-solving skills
 Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets
 Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills negotiating, supervisory and leadership skills.
