GENERAL INFORMATION
- Position: CHIEF OF SALES DEPARTMENT - LOGISTICS
- Level: Assistant Manager

- Work location: Tan Binh District, HCMC
- Work time: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:30pm), lunch break (12:00pm - 13:30pm), Saturday morning (8:00am - 12:00pm)
- Allowance(s): Mobile sim card / Taxi card / Business trip allowance (domestic trips: 900.000 VND per day, overseas trips: 1.000.000 VND per day)
- Bonus and incentives: 13th month bonus (fixed) / KPI bonus and salary review once per year

- Selection process: Two rounds (Sales Manager & General Manager -> General Director)
JOB DUTIES
- Report to Japanese Sales Manager (male, 30s), dotted line to Japanese General Manager (male, 40s) (both are based in HCMC Head office)
- Assigned to Sales Department
- Manage 2 staffs (including 1 Sales Supervisor and 1 Sales Staff with supporting function)
- Job Responsibilities:
- Propose business plan based on: market, segment, timeline
- Responsible for Sales Department’s performance; try to achieve company’s target
- Establish and maintain good relationship with clients
- Develop the business: find new clients, visit current ones
- Approach and persuade the client, gaining clear understanding about their businesses and requirements
- Orientate the business strategy of the company; build up internal process related to Sales Department
- Encourage, support employees in departments to meet target
- Follow up and control employees’ performance based on daily reports
- Work directly with potential customer; provide good service with competitive price for sales team and business partners to win deals
- Provide database and sales lead for team members
- Conduct weekly and monthly report on sales revenue General Manager and General Director
- Other ad-hoc tasks as per requested by Line Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Desirable Background and Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Business
Administration / Import-Export / Marketing from Foreign Trade University, Transport University or commercial universities
- Language skill(s): English fluent (able to directly negotiate with foreign clients)
- At least 5 years of experience working in logistics field (must) for Japanese companies (preferable: Nippon Express,
Sagawa, Yusen, Jupiter…)
- Solid knowledge about import-export, sea/air cargo, shipping/forwarding market
- Good network in the industry; able to understand client characteristics for each segment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
