Job Description
<Job Summary> Working mainly on a Joint-venture low-rise detached house project in Vu Yen Island, Hai Phong City <Job Responsibilities> - Go to the construction site daily from Monday to Friday to assist the Project Manager and the Project Engineering Director in controlling the construction schedule, construction quality, and cost. - Prepare a draft of the project construction report (weekly & monthly) on the current situation internally by creating appropriate documents. - Attend and record, make meeting minutes in both Vietnamese and English. - Make a draft of the business letter, submit, and receive the project’s documents and letters. - Cooperate with Vietnamese contractors and Japanese partners to check the site and organize their comments and feedback. - Check drawings and give feedback to enhance the usage and quality. - Give proposals to JV partners, to enhance the construction quality, reporting defects on site, and sharing feedback for the drawing check - Communicate well with the JV partner’s engineering team in Vietnamese, understand their intention, and create a good relationship - Interpret conversations between Vietnamese and English during meetings. - Other relevant tasks will be requested by the Project Manager and/or the Project Engineering Director.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering ・Language: English - Business Level ・Experience: - From 7 - 10 years’ experience in the construction field for a general contractor, a real estate developer, or a construction management company. (Experience working at a foreign company is highly recommended.) - Experience in high-rise and low-rise residential projects (high-rise condominiums and low-rise detached house projects) ・Other Skills/Abilities: - PC skills (CAD, Microsoft Office) and Internet use - Ownership of assigned tasks, cooperative, flexible, keen to learn new areas - The capability to make reports and record meeting minutes in both Vietnamese and English. - Will be based in Hai Phong City, but Possibility of working in Hanoi after project completion
