Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
- Supervise the Quality Engineers in the department
- Achieve Quality Objectives
- ISO: all tasks needed to maintain registration
- Resolving Quality issues with both customers & suppliers
- Processing CCCR (Customer Complaint/Concern Record) issued by the Sales Department
- Issuing Corrective Actions to Suppliers
- Follow up on Corrective Actions & Closure
- Closing DR, Corrective Actions, & CCCR
- Completing Defect Report (DR)
- Inspect Parts on Quality Issues for Defect Claims and Corrective Actions
- Arrange Sorting Activities
- Providing Corrective Action Responses to customers (for example, 8D Report)
- Red Tagging Non-Conforming Material
- Disposition of Non-Conforming Material (e.g., sorting, rework, scrap, return to Vendor, Credit Memo)
- PPAP (Production Part Approval Process): preparation & submission
- IMDS (International Material Data System): preparation & submission
- Conflict of Minerals: preparation and submission
- RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances): preparation and submission
- Visiting Key Suppliers & Customers
- Writing meeting minutes/letters/contracts/memos
- Assist in the training of new QA personnel when necessary
- Recommend personnel actions and perform semi-annual performance reviews; recommend annual salary and bonus adjustments
- Any other tasks assigned
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Mechanical Engineering or science/math/engineering)
- At least 8 years of experience in QA in the Electrical Equipment, Electronics, Machinery, Trading, or Chemicals/Materials industries
- Minimum 5 years of management experience required
- At least a Business level of English to use for overseas customers (TOEIC 750+ and Japanese language advantage)
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Having experience in QA in the Automotive or trading industry
