<Job responsibilities> This position belongs to the Construction Department The project in charge is industrial projects. - Work with M&E Contractor or Main Contractors to prepare the detailed cost estimates and budgets for M&E packages - Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV - Structure a Bill of Quantities by both system-wise and building-wise - Coordinate with Design/ Estimating and Procurement Teams - Other tasks assigned by the Line manager
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, MEP/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related fields. ・Gender: Any ・Age: from 25 ・Language: English - Business level OR Japanese - Business Level ・Experience: - Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP quantity take-off & BOQ preparation - Able to prepare detailed quantity take-offs for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV; produce system-wise and building-wise BOQ. - Knowledge of M&E system, Firefighting system, and its Regulations. - Proficient in AutoCAD and advanced MS Excel ・Others: Accurate, deadline-driven, able to coordinate with design/estimating/procurement teams. <Preferable Skill / Experience > ・Have working experience with M&E Contractor/ Main Contractor preferred. ・Experience with Revit/BIM software is an advantage. ・Professional membership (RICS/CIOB) or local QS certification. ・Prior experience on industrial / data center/high-rise / commercial projects. ・Experience with JAPAN/USA/EURO/Singapore/Taiwan Project. ・Experience with FIDIC contract administration and claims support. ・Fluent communication and understanding of technical terms in both English and Japanese is an advantage.
