Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
- Receive and process quotation requests from the sales, customer support team, internal or customers.
- Analyse shipment requirements and recommend the most cost-effective and time-efficient logistics solutions.
- Negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, overseas agents, and other service providers.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term pricing and procurement strategies.
- Monitor and update freight rates, surcharges, customs, license fees and related costs for all trade lanes.
- Research market trends, forecast rate fluctuations, and recommend timely adjustments.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and maintain service contracts.
- Coordinate closely with the company sales, cs, operations, removal and finance teams to optimise costs and improve profitability.
- Train and guide team members on quotation processes and supplier negotiation skills
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience>
・ Education: Bachelor's degree, major in Economics, Foreign Trade, and Maritime
・ Age: 27 - 35
・ Gender: Any
・ Language: English business level (for business communication and negotiation)
・ Experience: At least 3 - 4 years of experience in Pricing/Procurement/ operation in Freight Forwarding or Shipping Line.
- Proven experience in handling quotations or cost checks for Air, Sea, Warehouse, cross-border transport (CBT), Local trucking, customs declaration, and license application services.
- Strong understanding of global trade lanes, freight rate structures, and logistics markets.
