Job Description

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Position: MEP REBRO ENGINEER
  • Level: Staff
  • Contract Term: Permanent
  • Recruitment Reason: New-hire

  • Work Location: Tan Binh District, HCMC
  • Work Time:
  • Monday-Friday (8:00~17:30) (1-hour lunch break from 12:00~13:00)

JOB DUTIES:

  • Report to Vietnamese MEP Manager
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • To Company:
  • Conform to any reasonable request from MEP Manager
  • Look for savings in cost, time and resources
  • Be able to accurately estimate timings for the assigned tasks
  • Inform Direct Supervisor when not busy and willingly ask for more billable work to complete
  • Invest free time in Company pipeline jobs or training courses / activities
  • To Project:
  • Accurately and with regard for relevant building modules and formats, put paper copy designs into CAD
  • Produce general arrangement drawings, sections, elevations, details, and layouts as required and reference into coherent working drawing/production information packages
  • Interpret sketches/adapt previous details to suit the specific project in hand
  • Catalogue relevant archive material for reuse by self and others on subsequent projects
  • Accurately assess, based on previous and ongoing experience, personal work programmes and workloads for integration into the group’s programmes and deadlines for projects
  • Follow and pick up latest changes from clients accurately and quickly
  • Do not waste time adding detail to drawings unless this improves the legibility of the drawing
  • To Client:
  • Treat the input from clients and output to clients confidentially
  • Ensure the best quality of output to the client
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward clients at all times (friendly and helpful)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Desirable Background & Experience:
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in related majors
  • Language Skills: Japanese written and spoken language skills to Japanese Proficiency Language Test level 3 or above (or equivalent)
  • Expertise in Rebro is essential, Revit MEP is also desirable
  • Be willing to learn new CAD programs when required
  • Knowledge of building services coordination software, such as Solibri and Navisworks, desirable, as well as the ability to coordinate multiple services
  • A good working knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Internet & Search engines
  • Familiar with Japanese technical vocabulary
  • Have a general understanding of the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire building disciplines
  • Have specialist skills in at least one of the disciplines of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or fire engineering
  • Preferably the candidate will have the ability to design services in one of the building service fields
