<Job Responsibilities> 1. 70% Warehouse Operations - To organize and optimize the warehouse layout to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of materials - To conduct meetings with customers to address warehouse-related issues and manage orders - To implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storage, and distribution activities - To maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate inventory management systems - To implement quality control procedures to identify and address non-conforming materials - To maintain accurate documentation related to inventory, receipts, shipments, and other warehouse activities - To analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement to optimize warehouse operations. - To generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and operational metrics - To supervise and train warehouse staff - To perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts - To coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency 2. 30% Transportation Coordination - To collaborate with the Customer Service and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and delivery - To align warehouse readiness with transport timelines, such as cut-off or loading plan - To support the resolution of transportation-related issues, such as delay, mismatch, or document issues - To ensure shipment documentation aligns with customs/Freezone requirements 3. Other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or any related field - At least 10 years of Experience in Freezone, Warehouse, Transportation, and 3PL in Freight Forwarder - At least 5 years of Experience at the Managerial Level with Subordinates - Conversational High Level in English (Communicate with the Japanese Managing Director and customers, emails, reports, and documents) - Proficiency in Warehouse Management System, Transport Management System, or ERP - Able to visit customers sometimes (Around 1-2 times per year or more than this) <In Details> - Well-versed in logistics, transportation, and inventory software. - Strong leadership and management skills. - Ability to work in a pressured environment. <Preferable skill/Experience> - Experience in a Japanese Company - Experience in an Air Freight Forwarder - Holds a Driving License - Have your own Car
