Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - To organize and optimize the warehouse layout to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of materials. - To conduct meetings with customers to address warehouse-related issues and manage orders. - To implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storage, and distribution activities. - To supervise and train warehouse staff on proper handling, storage, and packaging techniques - To collaborate with the Customer Service and logistics teams to ensure timely manner. - To ensure accurate order fulfillment and delivery process. - To maintain accurate inventory records using appropriate inventory management systems. - To perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions. - To implement quality control procedures to identify and address non-conforming materials. - To prepare and maintain documentation related to inventory, receipts, shipments, and other warehouse activities. - To generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and operational metrics. - To analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement to optimize warehouse operations. - To coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency. - Other tasks as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - At least 10 years of Experience in Freezone, Warehouse, Transportation, and 3PL in Freight Forwarder - At least 5 years of Experience at the Managerial Level with Subordinates - Conversational High Level in English (Communicate with the Japanese Managing Director and foreign customers, emails, reports, and documents) <In Details> - Proficiency in Warehouse Management System, Transport Management System, or ERP - Able to visit customers sometimes (Around 1-2 times per year or more than this) - Well-versed in logistics, transportation, and inventory software - Strong leadership and management skills - Ability to work in a pressured environment - Unity, collaboration, communication, and detail-oriented <Preferable skill/Experience> - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field - Experience in a Japanese Company - Experience in an Air Freight Forwarder - Holds a Driving License - Have your own Car
