Job Description


<Job Responsibilities>
1. Manage and oversee the loading, unloading, and delivery process efficiently while planning transportation operations in alignment with the organization's policies, vision, and cost control strategies to meet the business plan and branch revenue. 
2. Analyze and report business performance, including factors affecting revenue and profit, to management while preparing the annual budget in alignment with the organization's business plan. 
3. Assess risks, opportunities, and stakeholder needs related to transportation safety, set appropriate goals and measures, implement safety policies, and maintain standards in health, safety, hygiene, and security. 
4. Report transportation safety performance to management with recommendations for improvement and notify supervisors of safety incidents, including emergencies. 
5. Oversee transportation, maintenance, and develop business with customers. 6. Initiate and coordinate the enforcement of optimal transportation policies and procedures. 
7. Monitor and analyze transportation safety indicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 
8. Set up truck support, ensure effective truck planning, and control overtime and administrative costs within suitable limits. 
9. Manage the control of the truck plan through the system and liaise with customers, suppliers, and related parties regarding day-to-day transportation. 10. Manage compliance, insurance claims, and procure necessary resources for the transportation safety system. 
11. Always be prepared to respond to transportation safety emergencies. 
12. Report transportation safety, including emergencies, to commanders and receive feedback to monitor service quality. 
13. Mentor, coach, and motivate employees, support training according to the plan with HRM, and lead OJT, including identifying issues or case studies.
14. Execute communication with staff regarding day-to-day transportation, BCP, business plans, direction, and new updates, including setting up internal meetings for smoother communication.

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor’s degree related to Logistics, International Business, Import & Export, and International Transportation.
- At least 3 years of experience as Transport Manager in the distribution industry 
- Having experience in driver management 
- Conversational -high level of English to communicate with Japanese 

<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Having a driving license or owning a car is an advantage
