Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Source and procure engineering materials, mechanical/electrical components, spare parts, machinery, tools, and related services - Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to identify purchasing requirements - Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery - Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Project teams to ensure purchased items meet technical and quality requirements - Receive purchased materials and verify quantities, specifications, and supporting documents against Purchase Orders and delivery notes - Record Goods Receipt (GR) transactions accurately in the ERP/Inventory Management System - Monitor inventory transactions and maintain accurate stock records in coordination with Warehouse and Production teams - Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, and supporting documents before submitting them to the Accounting department - Prepare monthly purchasing reports, inventory movement reports, and goods receipt summaries to support Accounting during month-end closing - Support cycle counting and annual physical inventory to ensure inventory accuracy
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields - 2–5 years of experience in Purchasing, Technical Purchasing, Procurement, or Sourcing within manufacturing, automotive, or industrial businesses (open for domestic and overseas sourcing candidates) - High-level conversational English (To communicate with suppliers, emails, and documents) - Understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) - Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) <Indetails> - Experience in goods receiving, inventory control, and ERP inventory transactions - Experience preparing month-end purchasing and inventory reports for the Accounting department <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Japanese company
