Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> 1. Define architecture and detailed design of multifunctional lamp assemblies (e.g., LED modules, optics, thermal management). 2. Lead optical, thermal, and mechanical FEA/CFD simulations to validate performance. 3. Author and review DVP&R and oversee testing protocols for durability, ingress protection (IP), and photometric compliance (ECE, SAE). 4. Drive cross-functional design reviews with program management, quality, electronics, and manufacturing teams. 5. Manage interactions with Tier-1 suppliers, coordinate design verification testing, and resolve ECOs/PCNs. 6. Mentor engineers in CAD best practices, DFMEA methodology, and regulatory requirements. 7. Contribute to patent searches and identify opportunities for design differentiation.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical/Optical Engineering. - At least 6 years’ experience in automotive lamp/lighting design or related fields. - Expertise in CAD (CATIA/Siemens NX) and simulation tools (Ansys, Lighting Simulation). - Proven track record delivering LED-based lighting systems. - Strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills. - Conversational High level in English for communication with international clients and the document. <Details> - Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Experience in an automotive lamp design company is preferred. - Can start working immediately
