Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Perform structural design and analysis for factory, plant, and building construction projects. - Prepare structural calculations, design drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation. - Review and verify structural designs to ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, standards, and regulations. - Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, and construction teams throughout project execution. - Sign and certify structural drawings and structural calculations required for construction permit applications. - Provide technical support during construction and resolve structural engineering issues at project sites. - Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality and compliance with approved structural designs. - Review shop drawings, material submissions, and construction methods proposed by contractors and subcontractors. - Liaise with government authorities and relevant organizations regarding permits, approvals, and engineering requirements. - Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates for clients and management. - Other duties assigned
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. - Conversational (middle-level) English proficiency for internal communication. - At least 5 years of experience in structural design for factories, industrial plants, commercial buildings, or similar construction projects. - Hard Skills: Holder of an engineering license (ใบ ก.ว)recognized by the Council of Engineers Thailand; Licensed and authorized to sign and certify structural drawings and calculations for construction permit applications. <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Holder of a Professional Engineer License (PE) / Samany Engineer License. - Experience in factory and industrial plant construction projects. - Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering systems and their integration with structural design. - Working experience in a Japanese construction company or multinational company. - Experience in seismic design and international engineering standards. - Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, foundation design, and structural analysis; Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, and AutoCAD; Ability to independently prepare and review structural drawings and calculations.
