Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Analyze customer forecasts and demand trends, and make mid- to long-term purchasing and inventory plans. - Make and carry out purchasing and inventory plans based on customer demand, inventory levels, supplier capacity, and lead times. - Manage customer orders and supplier deliveries to ensure stable product supply and on-time delivery to customers. - Manage inventory quantity and value. Check risks such as long-term stock, slow-moving stock, unsellable stock, and shortages, and take action to keep the right inventory level. - Analyze inventory reports and data to understand inventory conditions and problems. - Report issues and suggest improvement actions to the manager. - Check that actual inventory and system inventory data are correct. If there is any difference, find the cause and take corrective action. - When there are problems such as delivery delays, supply shortages, or backorders, find the root cause and work with related departments and suppliers to take corrective and improvement actions. - Manage and coordinate 4M changes with related departments to make sure the changes are carried out smoothly. - Manage the progress of all import and export operations. Work with related parties to make sure export documents and shipping processes are completed correctly and on time. - When any problem occurs, organize the situation, impact, cause, and corrective actions. Report them to the manager and suggest necessary solutions. - Visit customers about once a month, mainly in industrial estates in Chonburi and Rayong. Transportation is provided by a company car with a driver.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - At least 2 years of work experience in inventory control, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, order management, or a related field. - Experience with customer purchase orders, supplier purchase orders, purchasing plans, inventory control, and delivery coordination. - Good understanding of inventory control, purchasing plans, lead time control, and supply chain processes. - English: Communication middle level for emails, communication with customers, and internal communication with Japanese staff. - Ability to analyze forecasts, demand, inventory, and other related data for planning and decision-making. - Ability to prepare reports and analyze data. Able to explain problems, solutions, and suggestions to management. <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Management experience or team/project management experience is preferred. - Experience in the automotive parts industry is preferred. - Experience in preparing import/export documents or managing shipping processes is preferred. - Good Microsoft Excel skills. Experience in data analysis or report preparation using Excel is preferred. - Japanese: Conversational level for communication with Japanese staff. <Candidate Profile> - A person who can not only use their own experience and knowledge, but also actively share them with team members and contribute to the growth of the whole team. - Strong analytical skills.
