<Job Responsibilities> - Develop and implement the SSC Taxation strategy in cooperation with relevant stakeholders - Ensure that all Taxation team members have suitable skills and perform at a high standard - Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team - Ensure effective controls to prevent/detect risks and that all taxation activities are accurate and timely - Provide transparent and timely reporting to stakeholders - Develop and implement SSC Treasury strategy with stakeholders - Ensure team capability and high-performance standards - Drive continuous improvement initiatives - Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accurate and timely execution of treasury activities - Provide clear and timely reporting to stakeholders - Develop and implement SSC Compliance & Reporting strategy - Ensure team capability and performance standards - Promote a culture of continuous improvement - Ensure proper controls and compliance with all regulatory requirements - Provide accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders - Oversee end-to-end AP and AR operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing - Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements - Establish and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks - Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives - Monitor service levels and ensure high-quality service delivery to internal and external stakeholders - Hire, train, and develop Managers and team members - Lead and motivate the team to ensure effective collaboration and performance - Build strong relationships with stakeholders, understand their needs, and manage expectations - Proactively identify and drive improvement initiatives, ensuring timely completion - Lead or participate in strategic and ad hoc projects as assigned by the Regional Head of Shared Services
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - At least 15 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Shared Services in any industry - At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multiple finance functions - Conversational business-level English (to collaborate effectively with regional and overseas stakeholders) - Proven experience leading a Finance Shared Service Centre or Global Business Services (GBS) environment - Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, taxation, treasury management, and financial controls - Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar - Experience with KPI management and Shared Service performance metrics - Strong strategic thinking and business acumen <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Master's degree (MBA or Finance-related) is preferred - CPA, ACCA, CMA, or other professional accounting qualification is highly preferred - Additional Asian language skills would be an advantage
