Job Description

<Job Responsibilities>
Regulatory Intelligence
- Monitor laws, ministerial regulations, announcements, and public consultations related to ammonia refrigeration, industrial safety, energy, environment, and labour.
- Produce monthly Regulatory Radar, quarterly Horizon Scan, and 1–2 page Impact Briefs for executive decision-making.

Impact Analysis
- Analyse how new regulations affect the company's design, installation, or maintenance work; identify which specifications or SOPs need updating.
- Track laws and policies affecting customers negatively (requiring design changes or additional equipment) or positively (BOI/energy incentives).

- Internal Advisory
Brief Engineering, Project, and Service teams when new standards or requirements affect ongoing work.
- Advise Sales and Project teams on regulations affecting customer TOR, recommending proposal and contract document adjustments.

Government &Stakeholder Liaison
- Liaise with government agencies (DIW, TISI, DEDE, BOI) to gather information, clarify technical queries, and track policy direction.
Prepare Position Papers on draft regulations affecting the industry, maintaining transparency and factual accuracy.

Opportunity Intelligence
- Identify commercial opportunities from BOI Smart & Sustainable measures or energy laws requiring customers to upgrade efficiency.
- Build a BOI/Energy Opportunity Playbook for the sales team to use in customer proposals.

Promotion & Presentation
- Present company profile, strategy, and core technologies to government officials, academic institutions, and other relevant parties via lectures, conferences, and seminars.
- Explain regulatory trends and their relevance to technology to private-sector parties and customers, building shared awareness and preparedness.
Represent the company as a speaker at seminars, conferences, and academic events.

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor's degree in law or Engineer 
- Master’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field.
**Background enables both technical legal interpretation and effective communication with in-house engineers and government officials.**
- At least 3 years in Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, EHS, or Government Relations — or roles requiring industrial regulatory monitoring.
- Conversation High in English: able to write reports, summarise regulations, and communicate with Japan HQ
- Thai: fluent reading, writing, and summarising of Thai legal texts
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for Impact Briefs and Regulatory Register
- Have driving's license (company car provided when visit govermenant)
*Required Knowledge
- Ammonia refrigeration system regulations
- Ministerial safety regulations, design/installation standards, and customer-facing requirements
-ISO/TIS standards for design work and delivery documents
- Energy law / Controlled factories
BOI Smart & Sustainable mechanisms and incentives
Environmental (EIA) & Labour (OSH) law
- Service/Commissioning safety protocols and impact on project schedules

<Preferable Skill / Experience >
- Experience in refrigeration systems, ammonia-related business, or engineering industry is a strong advantage.
