Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Research & Development: Conduct research to develop new and improve existing food additives, preservatives, and functional ingredients, focusing on flavor enhancement, shelf-life extension, and food safety. - Product Formulation: Formulate and test new food additives for different applications, ensuring they meet the desired functional properties and regulatory requirements. Quality & Safety: Ensure that all products developed meet safety and quality standards and comply with food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, EFSA). - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality control to bring new products to market and address customer needs. Documentation & Reporting: Document R&D activities, experiments, and product formulations clearly and provide regular updates to management. - Other duties assigned
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry, Biology, Nutrition, Food Engineering, Biotechnology, Agricultural Science or any related field - 3-5 years of experience in R&D of food additives. - Conversational middle level of English (Mainly used for documents) - Strong Knowledge of Food Science and Chemistry - Analytical and Experimental Skills <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Experience in the development of food additives - Knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EFSA, ASEAN Food Regulations).
