Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> 1. Develop 3D CAD models and detailed drawings of lamp housings, lenses, and mounting brackets. 2. Assist in optical simulations (e.g., light distribution, intensity) using software such as LightTools or TracePro. 3. Input and manage BOMs in PLM/ERP systems. 4. Prepare and update design validation plans (DVP&R) and support prototype build activities. 5. Collaborate with tooling, electronics, and supplier teams to resolve design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) issues. 6. Support tolerance stack-up analyses and create GD&T annotations per ISO and ASME standards. 7. Participate in DFMEA exercises to identify and mitigate failure modes. 8. Document design changes and maintain revision control.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - At least 2 years of work experience in Automotive Lamp/Lighting design or similar component design. - Proficient in CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE or Siemens NX. - Basic understanding of injection molding processes and materials (PC, PMMA, PC/ABS). - Conversational High level in English for communication with international clients and the document. <Details> - Strong problem-solving skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Experience in an automotive lamp design company is preferred. - Can start working immediately
