Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Conduct market research to identify customer requirements, business opportunities, and potential risks, supporting the development of targeted trade lanes aligned with business plans. - Engage with new and existing customers by arranging meetings, preparing comprehensive quotations with accurate pricing, and driving sales conversions. - Guide the team to collect and share customer feedback from surveys and interviews to support product development and improve service quality. - Strengthen customer relationships by directing the team on regular engagement to improve customer retention. - Manage CRM activities—including inquiries, calls, and visit plans—to execute action plans that meet or exceed monthly sales targets. - Share accurate and timely information with internal and external stakeholders to meet KPIs and enhance service standards and customer satisfaction. - Build and maintain long-term partnerships with agents and overseas partners through continuous engagement. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance products, services, and operational processes. - Perform additional duties as assigned by management. - Oversee and support the development of Sea Freight, Air Freight, and Cross-Border products. - Comply with company OHS policies and actively participate in safety initiatives, hazard reporting, and incident investigations. - Ensure debtor collections are completed within the credit period and coordinate with the debt collection team. - Ensure all credit approvals are processed with accurate details and updated in a timely manner.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field. - At least 7 years of experience in sales, freight, and cross-border in a third-party logistics solutions company - At least 2 Years of experience in management-level - Conversational High Level skill in English. (with Sri Lanka Executive and Clients) - Must have your own car to visit a client - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Knowledge of Freight Forwarders Association standard trading conditions - Knowledge of the Association of Ship Agents Regulations - Knowledge of International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association (FIATA) regulations - Knowledge of International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations - Be able to join immediately
