Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - To conduct research and development of products according to customer requirements - To perform market surveys to support new product research and development - To improve and develop existing products in terms of quality - To oversee production processes, raw materials, and costs - To Source and evaluate new raw materials and packaging - To ensure compliance with relevant legal requirements - To carry out sample preparation at lab scale and production trials, including sensory testing - To prepare documents for raw materials, packaging, production, and finished products - To plan and conduct product shelf-life testing - To prepare reports on product research and development experiments - To prepare documents related to quality systems and food safety management. - To handle food regulatory affairs, packaging design, product labeling, and nutrition facts. - To supervise new product manufacturing in coordination with the Production Department - To coordinate and update the working process with the Quality Control Department. - Other tasks as assigned by the reportline
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology or Food Product Development - At least 5 years of Experience in R&D, Research, or a Technologist related to meat products - Experience in laboratory work for food product development, research, and sensory testing - Experience in Production Processes, Raw Materials, and Costing - Conversational High Level in English (Communicate with Japanese Managing Director in R&D part, reports, and documents) - Knowledge in ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001, HACCP, or ISO 17025 - Proficiency in computer usage and statistical programs <In Details> - Leadership - Resourcefulness - Responsibility - Solve problems effectively <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Experience in a Japanese Company - Experience in the Processed Chicken or Poultry Industry - At least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor or Leader, no subordinates is okay
