Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) - Obtain, evaluate, and coordinate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers - Prepare, review, and administer Variation Orders (VOs) in accordance with contract requirements - Support project cost planning, budgeting, estimation, and cost control activities - Monitor project costs and provide commercial support to ensure effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle - Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of commercial and contractual matters
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering - At least 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry - Have management experience with subordinates - High-level English conversation (communication with Japanese Manager, documents, reports, and email) - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel - Willingness to relocate and work at project sites located in suburban areas <Indetails> - Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - From a Japanese company
