Job Description


<Job Responsibilities>
- Lead and manage the QA/QC function and strengthen the overall quality management system
- Handle customer quality matters with automotive OEM clients, including claims, quality meetings, and audits
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for customer complaints and internal defects (8D, 5Why, etc.)
- Maintain and improve the quality system in compliance with IATF16949, including internal audits
- Manage and improve core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans
- Drive in-process quality improvement activities, including defect reduction, KPI management, and SPC utilization
- Ensure quality assurance activities during new product launches
- Oversee supplier quality management and supplier audits
- Lead, coach, and develop the QA/QC team to enhance overall quality awareness
- Report quality performance and propose improvement initiatives to top management and related departments
- Other duties assigned


Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor's degree in any related field
- Work experience in quality(QA/QC) functions within the automotive industry *need to have work experience in a Tier 1 supplier
- Direct experience handling OEM customers (audits, claims, customer quality communication)
- Hands-on experience with IATF16949 implementation and operation
- Practical knowledge and experience with core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, etc.)
- At least 5 years of management or team leadership experience in QA/QC or Quality Assurance
- Experience in manufacturing process quality improvement
- Conversational middle to high level of English to communicate with Japanese staff

<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Work experience in Japanese company
