Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - To manage procurement for raw materials, parts, and indirect materials to support production requirements. - To coordinate with local and overseas suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delivery-related issues. - To prepare and process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders while maintaining accurate procurement records. - To monitor supplier performance, quality, cost, and delivery, and follow up on corrective actions when necessary. - To negotiate pricing, lead time, and commercial terms to achieve cost-effective procurement. - To coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, and Logistics for a smooth process. - To manage procurement-related documents, including quotations, invoices, shipping, and supplier certifications. - To analyze purchasing data and reports on delivery performance, procurement costs, and supplier performance. - To support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs. - Other tasks as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - At least 1 year of experience in Purchasing or Procurement in raw materials from a Manufacturing or Trading Business - Conversational High Level in English (Communicate with Japanese Management, Overseas Supplier, emails, reports, and documents) - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP, or SAP <In Details> - Knowledge of automotive parts procurement processes and experience working with suppliers. - Experience in monitoring supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD). <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or any related field - Experience in a Japanese Company - Experience in Automotive Manufacturing or Trading Business - Experience in automotive quality systems such as IATF 16949, PPAP, and APQP will be an advantage.
