Job Description

<Job Responsibilities>
- Plan, organize, manage, and continuously improve all purchasing and warehouse operations to ensure efficient and effective performance in compliance with company policies, standards, and applicable regulations.
- Develop departmental objectives, strategies, and annual operating plans aligned with the company's business goals.
- Monitor departmental performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Lead problem-solving activities related to purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and supplier performance.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure uninterrupted material supply and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate, develop, and maintain supplier performance, supplier databases, and supplier relationships.
- Lead cost reduction, cost-saving, value engineering, and Kaizen initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Develop, coach, and evaluate team members to enhance competency, productivity, and employee engagement.
- Ensure effective inventory control, material planning, warehouse accuracy, and ERP data integrity.
- Support internal and external audits and implement corrective and preventive actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, customer-specific requirements, and company procedures related to purchasing and warehouse operations.

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience>
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Administration, or related field
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Warehouse, or Supply Chain from an OEM/Automotive parts manufacturing environment
- Minimum 5 years of manager-level experience in manufacturing operations.
- English conversational high level (To communicate with Japanese management, reports, and emails)
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, warehouse management, inventory control, import/export procedures, and supplier management
- Experience using ERP systems for purchasing and warehouse management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
