Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Publishing Production Control: Own and manage the publishing production process, starting from: Editorial workflow, Designer coordination - End-to-end production flow from manuscript to printed product - Coordinate across editorial, design, production, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution. - Monitor production-related data such as: Lead time, Schedule adherence, Cost, and workload balance. - Use data primarily to detect risks and deviations early, maintain stable production operations, and support management decision-making with factual production data - Printing Vendor Management (Thailand and Japan): Manage relationships with printing vendors in Thailand and Japan. - Vendor coordination and communication, Quotation comparison and cost control, Schedule confirmation and delivery management, Quality issue handling when incidents occur. - Act as the coordination point between internal teams and printing vendors - Ensure production processes and standards are appropriately aligned with the company. - Balance group-level efficiency with each company’s operational reality and product characteristics. - Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor's Degree in any related field. - At least 1 year of experience in production management or project management (Ability to manage schedules, priorities, and risks in a multi-title environment) - Conversation high in Japanese to communicate with HQ and Japanese coworkers (JLPT N2 or above) <Details> - Basic data handling and reporting capability, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IFS, Pivot Tables, etc.) - Exceptional ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. - Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Experience in publishing production or editorial-related operations - Experience working with external vendors, especially printing houses - Prior experience in a managerial or ownership role - Experience working across multiple companies or business units
