Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Coordinate product and process changes resulting from Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), such as the implementation of new components (including timing and cut-off/breaking point of the change) and product qualification on alternative or new production lines. - Coordinate with the MTCE Project Manager on the handover of developed products into series production (D-phase), including managing the PPAP process with the Quality Planner. Hold regular meetings with the MTCE Project Manager regarding products in the development phase transitioning into series production. - Handle annual requalification by providing sample parts from series production according to the requalification matrix. - Follow up on sample builds for the verification of new tooling, tool refurbishment, and supplier-initiated changes. - Provide feedback, conduct assessments, and lead regular meetings between the Development Team and the production site regarding quality improvements. - Support internal, external, and customer audits (including on-site FDPR). - Verify the effective implementation of corrective actions for customer claims, and share lessons learned across production locations. - Plan material availability and software requirements for producing service parts (Aftermarket). - Create PPS and Ini files (Profiles) when product changes are required. - Operate and work within customer portals. - Follow up on line setup and qualification activities, such as sub-assembly line transfers (e.g., relocating from KE to Thailand).
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in the Automotive, Manufacturing, or Engineering Project sectors. (Project Management) - Conversational high in English proficiency, with the ability to lead international meetings and write business emails and reports <Details> - Proven experience managing projects across the complete lifecycle: Development → Qualification → PPAP → Mass Production - Solid understanding of ECN/ECR, Change Management, and Product Change processes - In-depth knowledge of core automotive quality tools and standards, including PPAP, APQP, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC - Direct experience in Product/Process Qualification, Line Qualification, and Tool Qualification - Ability to follow up with suppliers regarding Tooling, Samples, Modifications, and Corrective Actions - Experience liaising directly with OEMs or Tier 1 customers - Hands-on experience with Internal, External, and Customer Audits <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Experience in Line Transfer, New Line Setup, or Production Ramp-up is highly preferred. - Experience using OEM/Tier 1 customer portals is an advantage.
