Job Description


<Job Responsibilities>
- Management of the Movie distribution team: Lead by example, develop and evaluate team members, and take an active role.
- End-to-End Project Management: Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple, simultaneous film releases.
- Release Schedule Management: Create and meticulously maintain the master release schedule for all titles, proactively identifying and mitigating potential delays, conflicts, or market challenges.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central point of communication, ensuring seamless collaboration and information flow between the Marketing team, Events team, content licensors, and localization vendors.
- Negotiation & Partner Relations: Lead negotiations with key third parties, including Cinema chains and exhibitors, to secure optimal dates, screen bookings, and terms.
- International content holders (licensors), primarily from Japan, on material delivery schedules, marketing approvals, and contractual obligations.
- Localization & Production Oversight: Manage the entire localization pipeline, including subtitling, dubbing, and the creation of local marketing assets (trailers, posters, social media content), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Campaign Alignment: Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to ensure project milestones align perfectly with the go-to-market strategy, promotional campaigns, and premiere events.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress, budget utilization, and campaign milestones, providing regular status reports and critical analysis to senior management.

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Arts Management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in project management
- Background or extensive experience in film distribution, media, or the entertainment industry in Thailand
- A strong track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously from inception to completion.
- Outstanding multitasking and organizational skills with an impeccable eye for detail
- A proactive problem-solver with strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
- Conversational middle in English to have a meeting with internal, email, and documents
- Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office

- In-depth knowledge of and a passion for Japanese anime and live-action cinema.
- An existing network of contacts within the Thai film exhibition and distribution industry
- Demonstrable experience and exceptional skill in negotiating with external partners, particularly movie theaters/exhibitors and international content licensors.
