Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Manage and oversee overall production operations across two sections. - Lead approximately 14–15 employees, including section leaders and production workers. - Provide clear instructions to section leaders and follow up on production progress and operational issues. - Collect and understand information from the production floor and escalate important matters to Japanese management appropriately. - Act as a key communication bridge between local production staff, Japanese expatriates, and headquarters in Japan. - Communicate and coordinate with customers regarding production-related matters when necessary. - Manage production schedules, manpower allocation, workflow, and daily operational priorities. - Monitor production performance and ensure stable day-to-day operations. - Handle production-related calculations, reports, and management tasks using PC systems. - Work closely with section leaders on technical and operational matters rather than handling all technical issues independently. - Identify issues on the production floor and coordinate appropriate actions with relevant internal stakeholders. - Support continuous improvement of production operations and team management. - Other duties as assigned. <Expected Personality/Competency> - Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to give clear instructions and collect necessary information from team members. - Ability to work closely with both the production floor and management rather than focusing only on desk-based tasks. - Comfortable communicating and coordinating with customers when required
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Business level of Japanese（For accurate communication with Japanese management and headquarters, including explaining production issues and coordinating necessary actions.) - Experience in a manufacturing or production environment. - Experience as a Leader, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Manager, or other position involving team coordination or people management. - Basic PC skills for production management, calculation, reporting, and documentation. <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Experience managing production operations or production control. - Experience in the automotive or automotive-related manufacturing industry. - Experience managing multiple sections or teams in a manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO 14001. - Experience communicating with Japanese headquarters or Japanese expatriates. - Experience handling customer inquiries, production issues, or complaints. - Technical knowledge related to manufacturing processes.
