Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers, both domestic and international, to ensure a diverse and reliable supply chain. - Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best quality products at competitive prices. - Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and industry news to make informed purchasing decisions and forecast future needs. - Quality Control: Establish and maintain strict quality standards for all products. Conduct regular quality checks and work with suppliers to resolve any issues. - Compliance: Ensure all sourced products comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including HACCP, FDA; Coordinate with Headquarter Quality Control. - Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and industry partners. - Logistics: Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products, managing shipping schedules. - Reporting: Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to management. - Other tasks as assigned
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - At least 2 years experience in Buyer/ Purchasing field (Seafood or other Food Industry) - Conversational High to Fluent in English (coordinate with HQ, sourcing process, email, documents, report etc.) - Strong negotiation and communication skills <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Food Science - Work experience in Japanese company - Subordinate management - Early join candidate - Experience of SAP
