Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Support serial production sites to ensure product and process quality requirements are fulfilled according to customer standards. - Perform APQP activities for new product launches and coordinate PPAP submissions to customers. - Organize and manage product requalification activities based on annual schedules or customer requirements. - Conduct process audits according to VDA 6.3 standards and product audits according to VDA 6.5 standards. - Monitor and improve production quality performance, including scrap reduction and yield improvement activities. - Review and maintain quality-related documents such as Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions, Process Instructions, Control Plans, and FMEA. - Lead and support problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, A3, and 5 Why for internal quality issues and customer complaints. - Coordinate and follow up on product or process changes related to design updates and engineering changes. - Support customer audits onsite, including VDA potential audits and process audits. - Monitor KPI performance related to scrap, yield, SPC charts, and product quality trends. - Create and update monitoring charts for new products, projects, and process changes. - Verify and investigate product abnormalities and non-conformities to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. - Support continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer requirements.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering fields such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields. - At least 3 years of experience in Quality, Process Quality, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing environment. - Experience with Automotive Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and SPC - Knowledge of automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949, VDA Standards, and related customer requirements. - Conversational middle in English communication skills (speaking, writing, and presentation) - Holding a certified VDA 6.3 Process Auditor <Details> - Problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, and Root Cause Analysis - Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and technical documents. - Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers. - Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work under pressure. <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Holding a certified VDA 6.3 Process Auditor of the 2023 version is preferred - TOEIC score 600 is an advantage - Japanese communication is an advantage
