Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Respond to inquiries about JCB credit cards (in person/phone), including card loss, transaction issues, overseas cash advances, and insurance. *Communication with Headquarters in Japan in Japanese is required. * - Provide customer service and reception for card members (mainly Japanese) at the Plaza Lounge (in person/phone). - Offer travel assistance, restaurant, spa/massage, and tour recommendations and reservations. *Primarily for travellers from Japan, but also includes English support for customer members from China, Taiwan, and Korea.* - Plan and negotiate member benefits. *Negotiate with partner merchants, finalise contracts, and create promotional materials (in Japanese). * - Create JCB benefit booklets. *Select participating stores and conduct benefit negotiations. * - Contribute articles and update information on the company travel website. *Conduct merchant visits, collect information, and create Japanese-language blog posts including interviews and photography. * - Summarise and analyse lounge usage and sales data monthly, and report to the manager. - Prepare and update display materials and documents for the Plaza Lounge.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree or higher - 3 years of experience working in customer support, reception, flight attendance, or any related field - Responsible and patient when handling difficult inquiries from members - Business level in Japanese (JLPT) N1 preferred (reading and writing required; N2 acceptable if equivalent level) to communicate with headquarters and customer - Business level in English to communicate with internal and external (China, Taiwan, Korea, and etc.) <Details> - Cooperative, good team player - Cheerful personality with strong communication skills - Strong negotiation skills with local partner merchants - Detail-oriented, well-organized, and attentive - Ability to manage stress effectively <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Preferably with study or work experience in Japan - Experience in customer service or marketing is an advantage
