Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Lead and manage outbound operations, including order allocation, picking, packing, sorting, consolidation, manifest inspection, shipping documentation, and dispatch. - Supervise outbound supervisors and associates to ensure orders are processed accurately, on time, and in full (OTIF). - Monitor and manage outbound KPIs (e.g., picking accuracy, order fulfillment accuracy, on-time dispatch, cost per order, sorting accuracy, productivity) and ensure SLA compliance. - Oversee daily wave planning, workload balancing, and labor allocation in outbound areas. - Coordinate with the client’s transportation team, customer service, inventory control, and asset teams to ensure seamless order flow. - Enforce company SOPs, WMS processes, and safety/quality standards during outbound execution. - Ensure accurate handover of orders to last-mile carriers, resolving issues related to documentation or delays. - Drive continuous improvement in outbound efficiency (e.g., picking methods, manifest layout, pick-face optimization, process optimization). - Lead, coach, and develop outbound supervisors and associates to build capability and future leaders. - Provide timely outbound reporting and operational updates to the Shift Manager and Site Manager.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, or related field. - At least 5 years of experience in a warehouse/DC operations or fulfillment center operations position in a Distributor, retail industry, or e-commerce industry - At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. - Proven experience managing large teams (70+ staff per shift), fast-moving, and complex environments. - Strong knowledge of outbound processes: wave planning, picking strategies, packing, sorting standards, dispatch, and carrier coordination. - Conversation at a Middle level in English (Internal, Meeting, reports, email) - Strong skills in MS Office, specifically Excel & PowerPoint, and Google Workspace <Preferable> - Experience working with Korean companies and adapting to Korean business culture. - Proven track record in managing distribution centers within the food retail industry.
