Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Support and maintain the International Material Data System (IMDS) for automotive business requirements. - Manage and coordinate product material declarations to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. - Support HS Code declaration and verification for electronic components. - Assist with technical import/export control activities and customs-related documentation. - Participate in ISO and IATF 16949 internal audits and support audit preparation activities. - Coordinate internal training related to quality management systems and compliance requirements. - Ensure compliance with environmental and product regulations, including RoHS and chemical substance reporting requirements. - Support documentation control and continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve compliance and quality-related issues. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering - Minimum 1 year of experience as a document engineer or office engineer in a manufacturing environment. (Fresh grades are welcomed) - English Conversational high Level (To communicate with the Japanese reporting line, email, and documents) - Experience with ISO or IATF 16949 systems, internal audits, or quality management activities - Knowledge of IMDS (International Material Data System) - Understanding of HS Code classification and import/export regulations - Proficient in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP) <Indetails> - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Good communication and coordination skills <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Experience in automotive or electronics manufacturing is preferred. - Familiarity with Chemical in Products (CIP), RoHS II, ChemSherpa, and related compliance systems is an advantage. - Understanding of IATF Core Tools is preferred.
