Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - The role works closely with carriers, overseas agents, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipping process. - Arrange ocean freight bookings (FCL* Full Container Load / LCL* Less than Container Load) and manage shipment schedules - Support preparation and issuance of B/L (including House B/L) - Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, and internal teams - Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status and documentation - Monitor shipment progress and support issue resolution - Review shipping documents (e.g., Invoice, Packing List, shipping instructions) - Collaborate with internal departments such as customs clearance, warehouse, and sales teams - Maintain operational data and handle related administrative tasks - Support consolidation (LCL) operations and freight rate updates as assigned - Depending on experience, the candidate may gradually be involved in consolidation operations and rate management. - Other duties assigned
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor's degree in any related field - At least 3 year of experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, such as: ・Ocean freight operations ・Customer service (CS) in logistics ・Import / Export coordination ・Logistics coordinator or related roles - Basic understanding of the end-to-end ocean freight process (Booking to Delivery) - Conversational middle to high level of English to communicate with inside and outside staff (mainly use documents and emails but also need to phone call) *Direct NVOCC experience is not mandatory < Preferable > - Work experience in B/L preparation or shipping line coordination - Work experience in LCL / consolidation operations - Work experience working in a Japanese logistics company or supporting Japanese clients
