Merchandising Buyer (25K-40K) (JO-180412-151672)
Work outline: Overall of Merchandiser’s tasks
Duties & Responsibilities:
Attend meeting with suppliers and select product to sell in channel/program
Keep good relationships with existing suppliers and search for new suppliers for future products to sell at our channel
Analyze consumer buying patterns, predict future trends, and identify trends and business opportunities
Regular review Key Performance Indicators
Attend trade fair and do market research
Assess the competitive market with respect to trends, marketing & product strategy; react to ensure market leadership
Continually research of current trends and propose upcoming trend direction
Efficiently manage problems around inventory management; work cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery
Provide operational and business management support to merchandise planning team
Working closely on department strategy to ensure all teams are aware of on-going courses of action
Develop seasonal promotion strategies for the assigned channel
Work with teams across the organization to launch new product expansions
Qualifications:
[Must]
Thai nationality, Male/Female, age 23-35 years
Bachelor’s degree
Experience as buyer/merchandiser in Consumer/Retails Products
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure under a tight schedule
creative, energetic, confident and good taste with passion
Preferable:
Knowledge of business functions such as purchase, payment, inventory control, sales
Languages skills
English: Advanced Conversational Level
Japanese: None
Workplace Area: BRT Wat DorkMai, Bangkok
Working Hour: 8:30 – 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
