Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Coordinate closely with architectural and structural teams to align design and cost aspects. - Liaise with subcontractors to obtain quotations, clarify technical details, and ensure cost accuracy. - Plan and control project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities during tender preparation. - Negotiate with subcontractors, consultants, and clients regarding technical and commercial terms. - Work collaboratively with the Estimation Department to prepare comprehensive tender submissions. - Support the Tender Manager in preparing technical clarifications and tender documentation. - Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify M&E scope and potential risks. - Participate in value engineering discussions to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness. - Other assigned task by management.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineer. - At least 5 years of experience in M&E estimation or related work within a main contractor or construction company. - Conversational high in English (Communication with the Japanese report line, Meeting with headquarters, e-mail and documents) - Experience in tender preparation, subcontractor negotiation, and cost analysis. - Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and estimation procedures. <Indetaiils> - Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under pressure to meet tender deadlines. - A proactive team player with good coordination and problem-solving skills. <Preferable> - Experience in a working environment in a Japanese company - Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and/or estimation software is an advantage.
