<Job Responsibilities> - Marketing Strategy: Develop, implement, and oversee long-term and short-term marketing strategies for all product lines (comics, light novels, films, merchandise) to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales. - Campaign Management: Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, from go-to-market strategies (GTM) for new releases to sustained promotional activities for our catalogue titles. - Channel Marketing: Devise and manage marketing initiatives tailored for our specific sales channels, including e-commerce (EC), pop-up events, and physical retail stores, ensuring a cohesive omnichannel brand experience. - Digital & Content Marketing: Drive our digital footprint across social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and influencer collaborations. Create compelling content that resonates with our target demographics. - Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and analyse competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. Utilize data to measure campaign performance (ROI, Return on Investment) and inform future strategies. - Budget Management: Plan and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize impact and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with editorial, sales, production, and retail teams to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with overall business objectives and product pipelines. - Brand Management: Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all marketing communications and activities are consistent with the company brand identity and values.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. - At least 4 years of management experience in marketing within the entertainment content (publishing, film, gaming) - Proven track record of success in a marketing role, with demonstrable experience in developing and executing impactful marketing campaigns. - Strong theoretical and practical understanding of the full marketing mix, from traditional B2C marketing to modern digital strategies. - Conversational high in English to communicate with the Japanese Headquarters and external - Able to use MS Office <Details> - Exceptional ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. - Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. <Preferable Skill / Experience> - An advanced business degree (e.g., Master’s in Marketing, MBA) from a renowned institution is a strong plus. - Significant marketing experience within the entertainment content (publishing, film, gaming), retail, or FMCG industries is highly desirable. - A genuine passion for and knowledge of Japanese pop culture, including manga, light novels, and anime
