Job Description


<Job Responsibilities>
- Manage overall manufacturing operations and shop-floor management across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd factories
- Manage and analyze manufacturing KPIs, mainly defect rate, yield rate, operating rate, and production volume
- Visualize operating efficiency using data such as delivery performance, cost, labor productivity, and man-hour productivity
- Identify manufacturing issues, analyze root causes, and prioritize actions based on various numerical results
- Plan and implement improvement measures for defect reduction, yield improvement, operating rate improvement, and production volume improvement
- Identify bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and promote process improvement
- Manage overall factory operations for productivity improvement, quality improvement, cost reduction, and safety management
- Provide guidance and training to shop-floor managers, AMG-level staff, and production staff, and manage work progress
- Check the operating status of manufacturing equipment and participate in maintenance, repair, and renewal decisions
- Report manufacturing status, issues, and improvement progress to the Japanese President

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience>
- Experience as a Manager or above in the manufacturing department of a manufacturing factory
- Ability to not only manage the manufacturing shop floor, but also analyze issues, propose improvements, and implement actions based on numerical data such as defect rate, yield rate, operating rate, and production volume
- Ability to lead improvement activities for productivity improvement, quality improvement, and cost reduction
- Experience in guiding and training shop-floor managers and local staff, as well as managing work progress
- Basic PC skills, including Excel
  *Excel skills at around VLOOKUP level are acceptable
- Conversational level of Japanese 

<Preferable Skill/ Experience>
- Experience managing a manufacturing department with several hundred employees across the entire factory
- Experience managing 10–20 direct subordinates or managing multiple departments
- Manufacturing experience related to the resin industry, textile industry, spinning, carpets, non-woven fabric, or base fabric
- Proven improvement achievements such as defect rate reduction, yield improvement, operating rate improvement, or production volume improvement
