Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
- To manage regular Preventive Maintenance of facilities and machines of Lens Production
- To carry out routine checks on all Lens production facilities and machines.
- To identify any mechanical or electronic fault that may lead to a major breakdown
- To suggest the best way to mitigate further problems.
- To investigate and repair or replace worn parts in machines and equipment
such alignment, belt, filter, oil & grease, etc.
- To respond to the quality and performance of all RX Production machinery
- To analyze & support quality issues that concern machine design and specification
- To propose the idea for the improvement in the production line
- To make appropriate & strategic budget planning for the Preventive maintenance project
- To develop and take a leadership role in the project for any improvement of the KPI
such as reducing breakdown time, minimizing maintenance and cost, increasing productivity
- To improve Preventive Maintenance and new ideas & technology.
- To keep proper record of work activities, including all procurement and maintenance costs
- To submit reports on work activities and progress of work to the Top management
- To ensure that safety standards are maintained while performing duties
- To explain the requirements to suppliers or makers to control the maintenance schedule
- To work with the internal and global team to maintain machine quality and performance
- To seek technological advances that better the maintenance process
- To control and train newly hired maintenance technicians
- To follow and transfer, translate the direction of the company and top management to staff
- Understand about ISO system and work closely with it
- Other task as assigned by the President
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related Engineering field
- At least 15 years of experience in the Maintenance Development field from Manufacturing
- At least 7 years of Experience as a Manager with subordinates of more than 5 persons
- Experience in managing maintenance operations for both machinery and facility systems
- Experience in the 8 pillars of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Conversational High Level in English
(Communicate with the Japanese report line and meeting with the overseas branch)
- Understand in principle and technical knowledge about mechatronics
- Understand Engineering control, such as PLC, etc.
- Understand Tool designing, such as AutoCAD, etc.
