<Job Responsibilities> Compliance - Design, analyze, and monitor adherence to internal policies and external regulations - Prepare and oversee compliance audits, and track remediation of any findings Legal Advisory & Governance - Provide general legal advice to management and internal teams - Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and legal documents - Coordinate with external counsel on disputes or special legal matters CSR & Government Relations - Plan and execute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in line with company values - Coordinate with the government, regulatory bodies, and other public authorities Labor & Employee Welfare - Review and ensure compliance with labor laws - Manage employee‑related legal issues and provide labor‑law guidance - Collaborate with the HR team on complex labor matters as needed Other Duties - Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior leadership
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in Legal & Compliance in any industry - At least 1 year of experience as a leader, assistant, or Manager (No subordinates is fine) - Conversational High Level in Japanese (JLPT N2) (Communicate with the Japanese report line and the Japanese Management) - Conversational Middle Level in English (Use for documents and reports) - Experience in liaising with government agencies - Experience in labor law and labor relations - Understanding of CSR processes <In Details> - Ability to work independently (stand‑alone) and manage the entire process on one’s own <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Experience in a Japanese company - Experience in a logistics company
