Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Conduct sales activities and meetings by participating in events with fund companies such as VCs (venture capital firms) and related organizations. - Identify startups as potential financing targets and approach them. - Support financing screening tasks (e.g., financial analysis, market analysis). - Consult with the Japanese Manager in Thailand and the Japan/Singapore offices to confirm whether the financing should be executed. - Monitor startups after financing is executed. - Coordinate with accounting firms and law firms for M&A-related matters. - There may be business trips to Singapore or Japan once a year. - Other tasks assigned by Japanese manager
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skills / Experience > - Practical experience in finance (e.g., lending, investment, M&A, FAS) and the ability to analyze and make judgments using financial statements (BS/PL/CF). - Ability to proactively collect information needed for credit screening / investment decisions, summarize it into approval documents (e.g., internal proposal, credit memo), and explain/propose it to internal and external stakeholders. - Ability to drive deals/projects, including negotiations and coordination with VCs/funds, accounting firms, and law firms. - Business-level of English. <Preferable Skills > - Hands-on experience in lending/investing for startups, or post-financing monitoring (e.g., covenant monitoring, risk detection). - M&A experience (e.g., valuation, due diligence, key contract issues, PMI support). - Financial modeling / valuation skills (DCF, multiples, etc.) and/or relevant qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, advanced bookkeeping certifications). - can speak Japanese
