Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Manage the entire import process from shipment planning to customs clearance and final delivery. - Classify and verify HS Codes, ensuring compliance with Thai import regulations and requirements (e.g. TISI, FDA, DIT, Excise Department). - Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and government authorities to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery. - Review and approve shipping and customs documentation, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. - Monitor and control import licenses and permits, ensuring they remain valid and up to date. - Calculate import-related costs, including product costs, ocean freight, duties, taxes, and other logistics expenses. - Support and manage TISI license applications and other regulatory registration processes. - Communicate with overseas suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding import schedules and logistics matters. - Other assigned tasks.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - At least 7 years of practical experience in import operations (import-focused experience is preferred). - Strong knowledge of HS Code classification, customs procedures, import regulations, duties, and taxes. - Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government authorities. - Conversational high level of English (For external communication with overseasl location) <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Experience handling TISI, FDA, DIT, or other import-related regulatory requirements. - Knowledge of import cost calculation and product costing. - Customs Broker License or related professional certification. - Experience in the manufacturing, trading, or consumer goods industry. Able to work proactively with a "4C" mindset (Change, Challenge, Competition, and Communication).
