<Job Responsibilities> - To oversee the entire import process from initial order to final delivery - To manage purchase orders, customs clearance, and import documentation - To coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies - To ensure the smooth and timely movement of purchasing goods - To ensure full compliance with international trade laws, tariffs, and import regulations - To stay updated on any changes that might happen during the process - To develop and implement import strategies that align with business objectives - To optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs - To collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure seamless operations - To identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with international suppliers - To negotiate contracts and ensure the quality standards - Other tasks as assigned by the Manager
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or any related field - At least 5 years of Experience in Import Operations from the Trading or Manufacturing fields - At least 2 years of Experience in management with subordinates - Experience in Incoterms, HS Codes, customs regulations, and international trade practices - Conversational High Level in English (Communicate with Japanese Management, supplier, emails, reports, and documents) - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, or D365 <In Details> - Motivational speaking experience - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills - Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset - Ability to work well under pressure and perform detailed and multi-tasking responsibilities <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Experience in a Japanese Company - Experience in a Textile Company
