Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Manage import and export operations for international shipments. - Prepare, review, and process shipping and customs documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and import/export declarations. - Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping companies, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods. - Ensure compliance with customs laws, international trade regulations, VAT requirements, and company policies. - Monitor and process customs clearance activities and resolve shipment or customs-related issues. - Provide guidance and support regarding import/export procedures, duties, tariffs, and trade compliance matters. - Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation. - Track shipments and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders and customers. - Work closely with procurement, sales, warehouse, and finance teams to support business operations. - Assist in resolving disputes related to customs regulations, shipping delays, or documentation discrepancies. - Monitor changes in international trade regulations and recommend process improvements.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. - At least 4 years of relevant experience in import/export operations, logistics, customs clearance, or international trade. - English conversational high level (To communicate with foreigners GM, E-mail and documents) - Knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and trade documentation. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/logistics systems. <In detail> - Practical hands-on experience with shipping documentation, customs procedures, and international logistics coordination. - Capable of working independently on routine operations while escalating complex compliance or strategic issues when necessary. - Familiarity with Incoterms, tariff classifications, and customs compliance requirements. - Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously. <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Chinese speaking
