Work Outline Oversee all aspects of merchant acquiring and underwriting operations, including risk management, merchant verification ("KYC"), compliance and anti-money laundering ("AML")


Duties & Responsibility:

Domain expertise in e-commerce fraud, PCI compliance, risk, and anti-money laundering. Should be well versed in card scheme chargeback and risk management approaches.

Develop, own and manage KYC, AML, Credit & Risk policies.

Develop & execute companywide training needs for company staff as per the defined policies

Demonstrate ability to effectively interface with enterprise level customers, financial institution partners, and scheme network operators (e.g. Union Pay, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, AmEx, etc.).

Develop strategic plans for underwriting and operational functions, and works effectively with internal stakeholders & executive team. - Takes "Six Sigma" / metric driven approach to business process management and merchant acquiring functions; must understand and measure capacity drivers for resource planning and staffing..


Qualifications:

[Must]

Thai nationality, Male or Female

Bachelor’s degree in any field

Minimum 10 years management /leadership experience in e-commerce Merchant underwriting operations with a payments service provider (PSP) or acquiring bank.

Demonstrated ability to operate and manage merchant acquiring functions for the ecommerce industry in 24/7 environment for global or regional customers. Must have experience working with enterprise businesses as clients/customers and/or small businesses.

Must have acquiring operations experience in one or more of the following markets; Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.

Strong written and verbal communication skills / ability to work across a regional/global customer base. Should be able to demonstrate proficiency in managing and implementing best in class underwriting, risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Excellent written and spoken English; a second regional language such as Thai, Japanese, Bahasa Indonesia, or Mandarin strongly preferred.
